I went to the Seattle show recently and I just felt the need to leave a message in case anyone is trying to decide whether or not to go. I understand that tickets to any show are a luxury. I, too, am buried under student loans and try to limit my spending. That being said, when the $25 tickets were released I decided to go for it and got myself one. They were second tier which isn't bad at all. She looked a little small but sounded the same. :) I'm so glad I decided to go.
I'm not overweight. I'm quite healthy. Love me some organic vegetables. It didn't matter. There was still plenty I could learn and take away from the show and I'm thankful I went. It really inspired me to stick with the lifestyle and motivated me to continue working out. I learned even more about the hormones in dairy products and heart rates and whatnot. Very educational.
The education was not the best part. Think of it this way - for $25 you can get tickets to a combination fitness/inspiration/comedy show. This woman is hysterical. Audience laughing out loud hysterical. It was just such a good time!
If you're on the fence just do it. You know you want to, and you won't regret it.
My email is volunteersSMT@gmail.com if anyone has a specific question they want answered. Enjoy!
And if anyone who is part of the show happens to read this - programs would have been really nice. I would love to have had something to take notes on or remember the show by. And a running time would be good. I had no idea it was almost three hours and that would've been nice to know in advance.
I feel that having the opportunity to go for such a small fee was great! I'm sure you got more than your money's worth! However, we must take into consideration that everybody who would love to attend, and can only afford to pay a low fee, might have a different learning modality from Lisa. Some people are actually "visual learners" and to have someone like that sit for 3 hours and listen without seeing Jillian up close can be very difficult! I would like to ask the administrator of this site, is it at all possible that Jillian's team coordinator/PL person for her tour, can request to have a big screen put up at locations where people will be seated at tiers very high up? Thank you in advance for a prompt response! :)
